POC is proud sponsor of the Ski Cross World Cup in St.Johann in Tirol/ Oberndorf, Austria (1/3/2009)

On January 5.th the first Ski Cross World Cup of the season will be held in St.Johann/ Oberndorf. POC is proud sponsor of this spectacular night event which promises an imposing atmosphere. This competition offers a great challenge for the athletes as well as an impressive show for the spectators.

All the POC team athletes like double X-Games Gold winner Lars Lewen (SWE), World Champion Karin Huttary(AUT), X-Games medal winner Hedda Berntsen (NOR) and Ski Cross World Cup winner Hiroomi Takizawa (JPN) will be there to kick
off their season and fight for World Cup points and glory.

„The newly build arena offers a difficult and technical course with a very steep part in the middle. Spectators will be able to see the course from top to bottom and wittness the athletes spectacular achievements shoulder to shoulder. It will be great fun to start of the season on home ground this year and feel the close pressence of the audience at this spectaculare night event.“ says Karin Huttary
