3 gold medals to POC team at Airwaves Invitational in Tignes! (1/7/2009)

A selection of the world´s best riders were invited to battle it out against each other on the snow in Tignes.

POC team riders Lars Lewén (Skier X), Karin Huttary (Skier X) and Romain Saladini (4 Cross) all took home the gold in their respective disciplines.

Hopes were high as Lars said he felt in good shape before the races. He then won all three races! Lars took the lead from the start and kept it across the finish line! ”It is always good for the self confidence to start the season off like this!” says Lars.

Karin won the women’s races passing Ophélie David on the finishing line. ”I´m back!” says Karin who is just getting back into the game after two severe injuries the last two seasons.

POC riders also dominated the bike 4 Cross podium, where the gold medal was won by Romain Saladini and bronze medal went to Remi Thirion.
