World Cup Total Gold for POC team rider Sanna Tidstrand! (4/28/2009)

Speed Ski World record holder (242.59 km/h) Sanna Tidstrand won the WC finals in Verbier on thursday taking home the total World Cup.

Sanna has won the World Cup two seasons in a row and this year she totally dominated the cup by winning 7 out of 7 races. The margin to the silver medalist was a record in itself. She has demonstrated
for some time now that she is the best female speed skier in the world. She is the fastest woman on skis in history.

To finish the successful stay in Verbier, Sanna also took the gold in the Speed Master Competition on Saturday.

”After some material problems that set me back at the world championships it feels great to be able to prove that I belong in the top! I definitely feel I deserve to take some time off now and enjoy the summer! Next season is just around the corner!” says Sanna
